Ironing Mining and Manufacturing is a historical book that details the history of iron mining in Iron County, UT. I decided to go with a vintage, steam-punk theme for the overall design -- from the letter pressed typography, to the vintage illustration of a machine commonly used to mine iron. I also designed a pattern for the end pages that compliments the cover. Iron County, UT is known for its mountainous terrain which is why I chose to go with a topographic pattern.
